To ensure the suitability and safety for human consumption of medical marijuana and medical marijuana products, growers and processors are required to test medical marijuana and medical marijuana products for microbials, mycotoxins, residual solvents, pesticides, THC and cannabinoid concentration, terpenoid type and concentration, heavy metals, foreign materials and filth, and water activity and moisture content. We call this: full panel.
-
Microbial testing has the longest incubation period in cannabis testing, typically taking 3-5 days. This test detects harmful bacteria, molds, and yeasts in the sample, requiring time for culture growth or DNA analysis.
